Information:

Peter Ro was born and bred in the Lower East Side of New York, Peter Ro is a artiste of many disciplines. Being a MC is just one of those. The year was 1986. A good year for NY. The Mets won the World Series, Mike Tyson won his 1st heavyweight title. The classics The Bridge and South Bronx were released. It was a good year for the city. With this optimism, Peter Ro latched on to this melting pot. However it was Hip Hop/RNB/House/Reggae that had him truly inspired. At the age of 12 he would begin his foray into his beloved genre of choice. Recording with just a tape recorder, and oversized boom-box he and his uncle would spit freestyle after freestyle. Tapes he still has today.

Then by 17 in High School he would be introduced to the people he would cut his teeth in the music industry with. Together he formed the indie label, 2JobsNAHustle LLC. From trance to pop. Dubstep to RNB. Nothing was untouched. The group secured several sponsors for its artist such as Brooklyn Warehouse, Nort/ Recon. In this enclave he would begin to form who he was and what he was capable of. He began to form a passion for wordplay, complex multi-syllabic rhyme patterns and witty execution. Some would say Peter Ro sounds like a cross between Eminem, Tech Nine, Nas, and Bone Thugs. Using concepts in his rhymes and his execution to deliver something unique. Near the end of College Peter Ro released and helped release over 6 projects, one of which was the labels mixtape, and one his own, the concept heavy "The Weather Man Mixtape". Which Peter Ro mixed, shot visuals for and served as executive producer. It was during this time Ro would also help nuture the foundation for his talents as a videographer, music studio engineer, song writer, and photographer.

By late 2011 Peter Ro would depart from the label he help form to start something new and exciting. He would begin to build the brand Era Style with several business partners and close friends. It also this time he took his talents around the world including Paris, and Tokyo and Panama performing and documenting his travels where ever he could. While back in the states he would travel and perform along the east coast. By 2013, he would begin dropping singles that would speak to who he was as a Hip Hop artist. It was also this year he would help co-found the Fuck A Genre Festival. A still growing festival dedicated to the indie artist. From clothing to music, to art its a festival by artiste for artiste. 2014 sees Peter Ro releasing his 2nd tape as well as a number of projects and singles while also being selfless when it comes to the thing he loves. Creating art with artiste. Follow this artist as he brings something new to art game. #WeInThere
